Connect your devices

Connecting to the room service…

On your first device, create a room.

Clipboard Sync

Create or join a room to share clipboard text.

Broadcast reads your clipboard once. You can also type or paste text below and send it manually.

How to sync your clipboard

  1. Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network and open this page in each browser.
  2. Create a room on the first device. On the second device, scan the QR code or enter the room ID and choose Join Room.
  3. Once connected, choose Broadcast Clipboard, or type or paste into the text box and choose Send Text.
  4. On the receiving device, choose Click to Copy. You can send text in either direction while both tabs stay open.

Clipboard sharing questions

Does it copy text automatically?

No. Broadcasting reads your clipboard only when you click the button. Received text appears on screen, and you decide when to copy it. The tool does not monitor your clipboard in the background.

Why is clipboard access blocked?

Browsers restrict clipboard access to secure contexts such as HTTPS and localhost, and may ask for permission. If you open the app using an HTTP local IP address, use the text boxes to paste, send, and copy manually.

Where does the text go?

The room service exchanges connection details. Clipboard text travels between the paired browsers over an encrypted WebRTC data channel and is not sent through the signaling server. Share the room ID only with someone you trust.

Can I share files or images?

This clipboard tool sends plain text. For documents, photos, and other files, use the Wi-Fi file sharing tool.
